Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has accused Atishi, set to become Delhi’s Chief Minister, of having parents who wrote mercy petitions for 2001 Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. Arvind Kejriwal proposed Atishi as his successor during a meeting with party MLAs. Kejriwal plans to resign and push for early elections in November.
