The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty was trading in negative terrain following global cues. At 9.31 am, Sensex was trading 60.01 points down at 26,057.84. Similarly, Nifty was trading 21 points down at 7,910.35.
Wipro: Stocks of country’s third largest software services firm were trading over 1 per cent up in early trade after it said it will acquire German IT consulting firm cellent AG for 73.5 million euros (about Rs 518 crore). The all-cash deal is expected to close in the March 2016 quarter.

Yes Bank: McDowell Holdings, a unit of Vijay Mallya-led UB Group, on Wednesday said private lender Yes Bank had invoked shares of United Breweries Ltd (UBL) which formed only 0.16 per cent of its holding. Clarifying on reports that Yes Bank Ltd (YBL) had invoked shares worth Rs 778 crore accounting for 3.02 per cent stake in United Breweries pledged by McDowell Holdings, the company said the invoked shares are actually worth Rs 39.48 crore only.
