The women’s wing of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) protested outside Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar against the alleged sexual assault of a woman in police custody. They demanded a court-monitored SIT probe and judicial inquiry. Congress activists also demanded the resignation of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi over the incident.
