The government is planning to introduce three bills, including two constitutional amendments, to implement simultaneous elections for Lok Sabha, state assemblies, and local bodies. The first bill focuses on aligning Lok Sabha and state assembly elections, while the second addresses local body polls. A third bill will amend laws for Union territories with legislative assemblies.
