Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy has called ADGP M Chandra Sekhar, who leads the SIT probing a 2007 mining lease case, a ‘blackmailer’ and ‘criminal’. Sekhar responded by asserting his commitment to justice. The case involves allegations of illegal mining approvals during Kumaraswamy’s tenure as Chief Minister from 2006 to 2008.
