Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Omar Abdullah on becoming the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed optimism about collaborating with Abdullah for the progress of J-K. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha administered the oath to Abdullah. This marks the first elected government in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
