@opbasi You’ll need to contact SBI bank investor relations / RTA which is KfinTech. I think the mail id is einward.ris@kfintech.com
Attach the shares photo. Ask them how to proceed with the dematerialization.
Chances are that you might be asked
- ISR 1 (kyc)
- Request Letter
- PAN
- Adhaar
- Nominee form
- Old share certificate
To be sent to their office post which they will update the details and send you the new shares.
I’ll suggest you that post this ask them if you can share the same along the DRF [which seems unlikely since stocks might be in iepf if you’ve not been receiving dividends and/or changes in the no. Of shares due to split/bonus]
There’s a chance of shares being in IEPF and the process would be different for that. They’ll guide you on how to do it.
Once you email them wait for a week or two, email them again, Wait for 2 weeks, if no reply comes lodge a complaint on the Scores portal of SEBI.
Then they will quickly take up your query. Do not do this before a month without reply as it’ll be rejected.
Let me know if you need more help. I’ve gone through the process of both iepf and demat and it takes time and effort.
