The Election Commission has postponed by-elections in several Assembly constituencies in Kerala, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh from November 13 to November 20. This decision was made in response to requests from major political parties concerned about low voter turnout due to the festive season. However, the Wayanad by-election will proceed as scheduled on November 13.
