Here is the image of my investments in format
STOCK (%age of total Investment) = %profit in that stock
If all your stocks were to crash by 50%…
Sounds like a good thought excercise. Frankly, that keeps happening also in real world. Like I am making loses in Lancer by -40%, the only thing that is stopping me from more investment right now in that is that even promotors have reduced their stake by large amounts and that is not a good sign. Now promotors are out with profits and I am stuck in limbo .Same goes for Polyplex as well, when I entered, it seemed like good growth story, so continued my SIP throughout 2023 despite a bit fall in profits and management’s confusion regarding future ownership etc. Now I think that other than numbers and business itself, the management and their own personal ambition also plays a key role in future of any company. I am following some threads on some of these companies here. Hopefully will be able to make up my mind.
Some of the bigger investments like Infy, shreecem and Jubiliant were my initial lumpsum investments and have been holding them despite no benefit to me.Thats when I stopped lumpsum investment anywhere anytime.
