Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) reported a 27% YoY drop in Q2FY25 net profit to Rs 286.9 crore, impacted by lower margins and reduced earnings. Revenue declined 1.2% YoY to Rs 4,855 crore. However, sequentially, profit rose 28.1%, and revenue increased 19.2%. RVNL’s shares surged 162% in 2024, currently trading at a P/E ratio of 77.8.
