Police arrested Union Minister Pralhad Joshi’s brother, Gopal Joshi, based on a cheating complaint by Sunita Chavan, wife of a former JD(S) MLA. Gopal is accused of defrauding Rs two crore, promising a BJP ticket. Ajay Joshi and Vijayalakshmi Joshi were also named. Pralhad Joshi clarified he disowned Gopal Joshi three decades ago.
