The Delhi government will soon notify a tax rebate incentive scheme to promote the scrapping of old vehicles. Buyers of new vehicles can avail 10-20% rebate on motor-vehicle tax depending on the fuel type, by submitting a certificate of deposit from scrapping their old vehicle within three years.
