Who is going to be the winners in 2 wheeler industry? Is it TVS, Bajaj Auto, Hero Motors , Eicher, or Ola ? Or is it going to be someone else -“Who moved my cheese”⁰ (25-09-2024)
I have been tracking the automobile industry for the past 3-4 years. In my opinion, all the top five players, including Hero, HMSI, Bajaj, TVS and Suzuki have a very strong portfolio each catering to individual customers needs. Hero has an advantage in rural India with its strong distribution and strong brand recall. TVS Scooters and premium segment motorcycles (BMW Motorrad JV) are doing well. Bajaj with its KTM and triumph portfolio and strong exports is also doing good. Suzuki with its Access and premium motorcycles is performing really well. My only concern is with HMSI. They have not added anything special in their portfolio in the past few years. They are milking Activa and also Shine to some extent. They have to change their strategy in this extremely competitive two wheeler market
