Investing in ETF NFO (08-07-2024)
I am interested in holding ETF’s for longer term but I do want to know if they offer substantial gains on the listing day. I was unable to purchase from their website as even after account creation, it is resulting in multiple errors and redirects. It will be easier through a broker. When a broker offers the facility of ETF NFO, I will get to know about the opportunities in other ETF NFO also.

To answer your 2nd point – as per management government are excellent pay masters, in-fact if they have to be concerned it would be pvt companies paying on time. This is the primary reason they shifted their module from taking up epc kind of contracts to exclusively knowledge-based consultations. This was a question in investor meet.

@Subha_M I multiple the quantity by the total number of resultant shares and divide the original cost price by total number of shares. Please remember that the final sum must remain the same.
Example:
Recently, INOXWIND came with 3:1 bonus, ie. for every one share you get 3 shares.
If you had 10 shares and each was purchased at Rs. 48, then your resultant will be:
10 x 4 (1 share held and 3 shares allotted – 4) = 40 and price will be Rs. 48 / 4 = Rs. 12.
Before bonus: 10 x 48 = Rs. 480.
After bonus. 40 x 12 = Rs. 480.
There is a row called “6 months price change”. Do ranking based on this row only.
