After the earnings call and all the updates the company is doing great in a sense. But is this PE justified.
For a small cap even is the PE of 200 how is this justified.
What is the future growth after this if am buying this stock now even for 2-3 years.
What is the price appreciation that will take place, or will it consolidate for the earnings to catch up. The company is great and all but just the valuation and timing to enter a company is not as good in my view. I mean 200 PE, where is the PE going to go after this point

In the past few weeks, I have narrowed down my portfolio heavily on the Green Energy Transition Theme, apart from few name which I think can be emerging winners in some basic sectors. My basket looks like this now:

KPIT – CASE (connected, autonomous, shared, electric) – Focused Automotive Play (02-11-2024)
Yes, management has often mentioned the risks from Chinese OEMs. The Chinese government has invested heavily in the EV industry over the past decade, building a strong ecosystem.
As a long-term investor, I’m buying more of KPIT Technologies at this level. This is based on my own risk tolerance and belief that the EU will not let its OEMs struggle too much. I think the EU will put measures in place to slow down the entry of Chinese OEMs.
If Chinese OEMs keep entering the EU at this rate, it could cause issues for other large auto companies in the future. The EU wouldn’t want to see large-scale job losses in its own markets.
The US, the world’s largest auto market, has already put a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs. So, I don’t see this situation as a major “Going Concern” issue for KPIT Technologies.
Personally, I’m okay with taking on industry risks, while company-specific risks are harder to manage.

Great @opbasi
I’ll suggest few things as next steps.
- Don’t send the original share certificate unless asked for.
- The request letter must mention whatever you want – demat, dividend, etc.
- I used to send the documents via blue-dart though costly but was better to track.
- Once you’ve sent the documents, email them with the tracking ID, and once delivered, mail them the same along with the screenshot of the tracking ID.
This may not be the most efficient way but you’re likely to get a response once they received the docs. If someone has some more tips, do share here.
