Rategain – Fast Growing SaaS Leader (20-05-2024)
From Q3Fy24 Concall
What I read from the concall & looking at the STAASH Tech website.
It seems, RateGain is also first trying to penetrate the Indian Hotel segment through the Distribution segment where they will be competing with STAAH tech. It will be great if they are able to gain some market share coz from there, they can slowly bundle other value added services from DaaS & Martech.
Delton Cables – Potential Multibagger? (20-05-2024)
Hi, I would like to start discussion on a microcap cables company – Delton Cables.
As of 20 May, 2024, the company has a market cap of only ~350cr. Since in the upcoming years, power sector and infra sector on a whole are expected to see a lot of investments, I was discovering oppurtunities of potential multibaagers.
I already have Apar Industries, KEI, Tata Power, Techno Electric & Genus Power in my portfolio (already have 2-3X returns on most of these), but I guess some small players can capitalize on the boom and hence some microcaps, if play well, can turn into mid-caps atleast.
With this hope, I discovered Delton Cables:

As of now, company’s FY24 revenue is greater than its market cap. In it’s May 2024 investor presentation, company is calling 2024 as it’s pivotal year, and aims to increase it’s revenue 6X in next 6 years, opting for an opex – lead model. Given the tailwinds in the sector, this should be achievable, and investing in the company at this stage can turn out to be a great investment (multibagger).

Low Volatility Stocks (20-05-2024)
Hi,
Calculation should be on the previous Closing Price because we are essentially measuring the volatility vis-à-vis previous closing price (see the formula for R2 & R3).
However, one further refinement that is possible is to use Last Traded Price (LTP) instead of previous Closing Price in the entire calculation. After all, LTP is an actual price at which the final trade for the day took place while Closing Price is just a fictional price arrived at as Weighted Average Price of the last 30 minutes of trade. I think using LTP will make the calculation truly perfect, capturing volatility in its true essence. Though in practice the results may not be very different from using Closing Price as I have done above.
I guess any standard momentum indicator such as Relative Strength or RSI would be good enough, I haven’t thought much about it.
