Agree . My point was that any such situation based correction will only make Bank’s valuations more attractive . It has one of the best numbers in peers . One overhang of merger gone now . Another one of new CEO should happen soon . Can have a long flight subsequently with Govt Push .

Tata Investment Corporation: Unusual discount to NAV (23-04-2024)
As per the latest financial numbers their total investment is 31k crores (mutual funds, bank deposits, cash in bank etc) and other income (mostly interest on income) is 4400 crores. That roughly translates into 14% average return on cash. So not far from my estimate.

SEBI has made a new proposal which it is asking for comments on…As I understand it shareholders of holding companies will during an auction that takes place once a year be able to propose a price without any circuit filter…
Personally I don’t see how this is really going to change things because holding companies rarely go upper circuit but psychologically it may be to an advantage and holding companies did rise 5 to 10 percent yesterday in trading session…
