Smallcap momentum portfolio (28-03-2024)
@kuldeep_agarwal My suggestion was different.
-
Check price change over 1 year. Rank the stocks. For ex: 1. BSE, 2. Suzlon, 3. TATAINVEST, 4. HUDCO, 5. BSOFT… upto 250.
-
Check price range over 6m. Rank the stocks. For example: 1. TATAINVEST, 2. HUDCO, 3. MRPL, 4. MCX, 5. BLUESTARCO.
-
Add the 1y and 6m ranking. In our example. TATAINVEST = 4 (3+1), HUDOCO = 6 (4 +2), like this for all stocks.
-
Rank the 250 stocks based on results obtained in Sl. No. 3.
-
You may need up with two or multiple stocks having the same rank. Ex. 1+4=5 or 4+1=5 or 2+3=5 etc. In such cases, please give priority to the nearer term performance, ie 6 months. Whichever has better performance at 6m has higher ranking.

Infibeam Avenues – A Fintech Play (28-03-2024)
Hi Kapil,
As per disclosure made by the Infibeam Avenues, its subsidiary Infibeam Projects Management Pvt Ltd is enaged in the business of providing software and pre-built infrastructure, tools and resources to fintech startups (refer attached). So, it is not strictly engaged in pure real estate operations. Let us wait for the next concall and get more clarity directly from the management in this regard.

JTL Industries – Fast Grower at an inflexion point (28-03-2024)
The stock is exhibiting weakness again, vulnerable to 170 levels, in a strong rising market.
I’ve taken a closer look at the numbers on screener. Given that since 2012 the company has grown it’s buziness, profitability and balance sheet without diluting key metrics like NPM, ROCE, ROE, revenue run rate etc., the company has demonstrated a “sustainable” track record.
Apart from that one event, is there any other overhang on the stock? The company’s clarification or insider share purchase don’t seem to help.
Plz comment.
