February 2024 update:
India’s overall exports(merchandise and services combined) during Feb 2024 is estimated at USD 73.55 Billion, exhibiting positive growth 14.2% over Feb 23.

India recorded the highest monthly merchandise export during the current FY at USD 41.40 Billion compared to USD 37.01 Billion in Feb 23 an increase of 11.86%.

The estimated value of service export during Feb 24 is at USD 32.15 Billion compared to 27.40 Billion during Feb 23, an increase of 14.7%.

Overall trade deficit during April- Feb24 is at USD 73.55 Billion compared to USD 116.13 Billion during April-Feb 23, an improvement of 37%.

Coffee exports increased significantly by 46.56% for Feb month compared to flat/moderate growth during the last few months.

Rice exports which were in a down trend for many months grew by 2.2%.

Marine products continue to remain negative for the month and year so far.

Iron ore exports increased by 33% during February.

Ceramic products and glassware exports up by 10% ( were negative during Jan month)

Pharma exports grew at 22.7% for Feb month and 12.9% so far in FY24.

Chemicals exports increased by 33.6% which is a significant change compared to downtrend during the FY so far.
Engineering and electronics goods export remained positive.

RMG of textile exports also turned positive.

On the basis of discussion in this forum, I have taken a position at the smallest numbers possible. Hoping that the Company and Dr Sane delivers.

Yes it’s a very risky stock.
One can’t allocate much capital in it.
I have a position but that’s a small percentage to portfolio, it’s a risky bet.

I have seen these episodes in yes Bank just before it went down and retail start buying that like nuts.

Directors resigning and simultaneously promoters selling and retail absorbing the sell off.

These resignations don’t bother me as much as them clubbing with Malvika offloading in open market in month of Feb or March itself.

Reminds me of a pattern to yes Bank, just before it went down.

On the contrary , there is an argument , that numbers q0q are improving , they are showing signs or revival in BS by debt reduction and non core asset sale.
PNL is turning corner gradually.

It is a hard guess, which one to prioritise , the actions that are brewing within the company in terms of board resignations , promoter sale.

Or their PNL and BS.

It’s a wild guess at this point in time.

Four people from the board of subsidiaries resigned (2 independent directors and 2 Directors), is it a cleanup or rats jumping off the sinking ship ?
