India’s emerging Drone Industries: Companies those are leading in setting up Drone Manufacturing plants in India (05-02-2024)
Ideaforge proudly calls itself the largest drone company.
But, Ideaforge is nowhere in the top5 in January2024 registrations.
While Dhaksha had a turnover of less than 5cr in 2022, this coromandel (Murugappa) based company has bagged a 165cr order for 600drones worth 165cr from defence (200pcs) and agri (400pcs) sectors. This is equivalent to last years sale of Ideaforge.
Ideaforge backed by Infosys has had a bad q2 But they are banking on drone Exports the the USA post receipt of license. But, no news on orders received by the company in the last quarter. Surprisingly, Carborundum Universal, another Murugappa group company has tied up with Ideaforge.
Another Listed major Paras Defence has also bagged a huge drone contract from IFFCO and also has existing business with the Defence sector.
Also, Paras order for 400drones is worth 42.4crores. This means Dhaksha order for agri drones has to be of around similar value. This puts the 200 defence drones order at 100-125crores.
with hardly a 1000 units of drones sold the rankings will fillip faster every month.
Amrutanjan Healthcare – Finally Waking Up After 100 years? (05-02-2024)
We have had Sanitary napkin demand exceed our supply. We are making concrete plans to build our own plant and commission it by q4 FY 25. This should bring profitability to this segment as the current supplier is aggressively increasing prices eating away our gross margins. Our market share in this category has grown quarter over quarter and has grown from 2.7% to 3%. (Quarter
ended September 2023).

SmallCap Hunter : Trying to find the dark horses with triggers (05-02-2024)
@DocDhiru Could you please share a few listed peers? I would like to study them as the company definitely looks interesting with quite a bullish guidance. I shall then post my notes here with some comparison with the peers. The ones that I have in mind are based on my knowledge from Germany are are listed in Europe, but that won’t be of any relevance for comparisons in terms of its valuation in India.

Green Hydrogen as a Fuel – Indian Companies leading the Green Revolution (05-02-2024)
Om…Pls correct me if my understanding is not inline with this thread and ongoing PSU,Power rally.
To me hydrogen enthusiasm has been priced already …since it is simply an end product of wind & solar power generation.
During weekend while travelling, i overheard youngsters discussing NHPC at a very remote village in south-west of gujarat…I was wondering how to look at such situation where renwable investment has became nextdoor enthuasiasm…many people have moved to equity from savings partially if not fully.
if hydrogen(power, energy, hydrogenation) is the new kid in the town for its possible incremental usage in power. why i say possible usage in power ? because i think energy usage like steel, chemicals through hydrogenation is already known.
Hence with hydrogen theme as a ride, only large companies/MSU might have steam left in them for going an extra quarter or two or year at maximum. We may have smaller companies who are into engineering, piping, equipment etc…but they are an engineering companies following an order book investment cycles.
I see multiple smallcase has shown ~76% CAGR past 3 year on renwable/Green theme.
My query is – what can one study/focus inorder to identify sustainable growth in revenue for a company engaged in renwable energy.
