EV adoption won’t take off significantly unless it gets to place where it’s near competitively priced with ICE vehicles.

Even in markets like US and China ICE vehicles are still dominating in sales.

1. I had few questions did you find anything about R&D spend in AR are they working on any new products?
   They have mentioned in their AR even tho EV is future there are many other transport which will require engine oil because they are just not viable in electric format.
2. Also how does the company look at valuation front right now? I see the PE multiple is little below above 5 yr average but how does the company look on other valuation front? Is it still a good buy at current CMP?

Profits being higher is not the point. Under reporting revenue means the Sales & profits are off books and essentially not getting to the rightful shareholders & just going into pockets of the owners directly.
This is a character trait and not a one-off event. One off event is them being caught this time.

I used to work in a government department and this is not a hearsay, first hand information – this company regularly engages in giving kickbacks to the people in my ex-employer, so much so that the part of the department where this company interacts with the department was coveted by people just because strides was there, i don’t know why nobody has been able to find any flaws in balance sheet, i am not an expert in it otherwise i myself would have checked it. One thing i am 100 percent sure is that the companies which usually engage in kickbacks have a lot of other issues as well, like one company named kavveri telecom, it is also listed, that company actually transferred its business to an entity privately held by promoter, recently that stock doubled, i am not aware of latest developments but that stock had a lot of cases against its promoter mr reddy of which market was not even aware of. Just be a bit careful guys, i am a newbie to investing, running my own business so not that active as well but i thought this might be of help, and this is the most i can offer to this wonderful platform as per my capabilities.
