DCB bank break a new 52-week high today… Trading at Rs. 144.60/90 levels… up 8.70% in a day.

GTL Infra – Convincing turnaround? (01-01-2024)
had a quick study on GTL Infra :
here are few intrsting pointers
- Even though co is in loss for more than a decade, they have +ve cash flow frm ops. which means their business is sustainable, only debt is hampering their sustainance.
- they hv mcap of 1600 cr against debt of 3500 cr, this is stretching books, as its difficult to raise more money.
- Banks own more than 40% in the co. Promoters have negligible holding.
- They have 50% towers with no tenants, which means idle.
- Total occupied tower is 10k. If we have to do a quick calculation of mkt value then, 30 lac per tower would which gives a rough value of 3k cr. ( i hope, I have done the calculation right)
PS : These are quick insights only because I liked the Cash flow from ops is +ve. This business would require govt support or buyout to sustain. Risks seems to be high.
