BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange)- Bet on Financialization? (01-01-2024)
Great insight.

Off late i have seen sensex derivatives contracts are not growing much rather have became stagnant. That can be seen partly from October & novermber’s data also of similar ADPT. December growing mainly because of Bankex contract. Still many large traders are avoiding sensex because of random ticks on 0DTE. Need to see, when those large traders come to sensex. It is circular nature – when they come, liquidity will improve more & So on.
For BSE, there is not much scope, apart from Friday & Monday – Because all other 3 days have decent volume & interest in NSE derivatives. -
Have u heard last concall ? Even though they are growing at decent pace in derivatives, actually they are making losses here – Bcoz settlement cost is higher then revenue & 90% of settlement is going through NSE’s settlement exchange. So, despite BSE making so much efforts, NSE is gaining indirectly from it rather than BSE – That’s what my understanding is. Any opinion on it ?

Sadhana nitro :a Dog or a Horse? (01-01-2024)
Hello @Prince_AI
Here is the full process of Continuous Batch processing for Para Amino Phenol
Starting Material Synthesis:
- Benzene (Starting material for nitrobenzene production)
Nitrobenzene Production:
- Nitric Acid
- Sulfuric Acid
- Nitrobenzene (Produced via the nitration of benzene using nitric acid and sulfuric acid as reagents)
Reagents and Chemicals for Nitrobenzene Synthesis:
a. Nitric Acid
b. Sulfuric Acid
Reduction of Nitrobenzene to Aminophenol:
- Reducing Agents (e.g., Iron, Hydrochloric Acid; Tin, Hydrochloric Acid, etc.)
Intermediate Compounds:
- Nitrophenol (Intermediate formed during the reduction of nitrobenzene)
Purification Agents:
- Purification Solvents or Agents
By-products and Waste:
-
By-products and Waste Streams
-
Nitration of Nitrobenzene: Nitrobenzene is continuously fed into a reactor where it reacts with a nitrating mixture (nitric acid and sulfuric acid) to produce nitrophenol. The reactor conditions, such as temperature, pressure, and residence time, are controlled to achieve efficient nitration.
-
Separation and Isolation of Nitrophenol: After the nitration, the reaction mixture is passed through a separation system (such as distillation, extraction, or other separation techniques) to isolate nitrophenol from the reaction mixture. Continuous separation methods are employed to separate the desired product from unreacted starting materials and by-products.
-
Continuous Reduction of Nitrophenol to Aminophenol: The isolated nitrophenol is continuously fed into a reduction reactor along with the selected reducing agent in a continuous flow process. The reduction reactor is designed to facilitate the controlled conversion of nitrophenol to aminophenol using suitable reducing conditions.
-
Product Isolation and Purification: The resulting mixture containing aminophenol undergoes continuous separation and purification processes to isolate and purify para-aminophenol selectively. Various continuous purification methods, such as chromatography, crystallization, or filtration, may be employed to obtain the desired product in high purity.
And now coming for other players who are planning to enter, its not that easy as they would need regulatory approvals, site selection and construction Technology Selection and Installation, Process Development and optimization, Testing and Validation, Batch product sample to customer for approval, then improving quality, then making huge capex for intermediaries then formulations so on…
All in all – it will take 5-7 years at least… Vinati wanted to enter in here, they had all plans finally they left it and they went on focusing their own products…
Even if someone gets this done after say 4-5 years… Sadhana will be already in a formulation process of Paracetamol and they would already taken up most of the market share…
So always the first guy who get this done – will be way ahead then who is willing to join in a league and compete with them…
Wonderla Holidays (01-01-2024)
Similar experience at Bangalore park where I visited last week. That was my 3rd visit to the park and I find it great option to rejuvenate after busy workload, especially kids just love it. Amazing experience, very good footfalls and very well maintained rides. Food options have improved too. May be there are too many rides and difficult to cover in a day, they may start charging for either dry or wet rides or both, similar to water kingdom. Worth a visit and am sure their growth strategy to now penetrate towards T2 cities will work well.
Oriental Carbon and Chemicals Ltd (01-01-2024)

The question is, if the OCCL Ltd is proxy to the growth potential of the Tyre industry and if there is growth comes back , could the stock be revalued? Can you assist me in verifying this?
Oriental Carbon and Chemicals Ltd (01-01-2024)
Bro occl hold multiple investment in unlisted space , hence the valuation of unlisted companies need to be built in the price .
What I shared is a perspective !!
