But 20 permanent employees is way too less. Even if one stafts a small trading firm he will need 3 people. To run a small unit, lathe mschine, one need at least 5 to 6 people at floor. They claim to be running big manufacturing business, in each departmen/critical function if they have 2 employees they will have over 50-75 employees.

Just curious, is there any manufacturing of chips happening at plant.

Cyclical investing involving an element of timing the purchase.

The best time to buy is when conditions look very bad and stock price starts to go up.

The worst time to buy into cyclicals is when the conditions look very good but the price starts going down.

The company data shows sales and profits. So if the demerger is over, the sales will remain on its book even post demerger.

So besides being a holding company will it also have some business of its own.

Stocks can fall 5-10% anytime due to selling pressure. If everytime a portfolio stock falls, I have to get worried, I cannot be an investor.

Here in Usha martin if you have read the threads in detail, its a well known fact that Prashant Jhawar is a seller in the stock off and on. He is a part of promoter group but not involved in running the business and probably might be planning to exit his holding over a period of time…

There could be other sellers with their own reasons…

As investors our primary and razor sharp focus has always got to be on the business of the company, its growth plans and how they are executed and how they play out in terms of numbers. For that one needs to read annual reports, concalls etc and detailed threads on VP.
