Elin’s Q2 results were disappointing
My reading of the situation is as follows –
During COVID months ( say Mar 20 – Mar 22, all major / minor waves included ) – a lot of products were over consumed across the country. Most of these belong to small home appliance categories. One can see a similar trend across the inner-wear, athleisure categories – where companies like Page Industries reported a sudden surge in demand in 2021, early 22 ( as people stayed at home far longer than usual ) and then the demand suddenly plummeted
Similar trends are being shown by companies selling small home appliances, like – CG Consumer products, TTK Prestige etc where the demand slowdown post FY 22 is unmistakable
Basically, the households across India overbought these kind of items, say before Mar 22. My ballpark estimate of situation correcting itself is 18-24 months ( rough estimate )
The slowdown in small appliance category is directly reflected in the sales of ELIN electronics for obvious reasons
Basically – it’s now a patience game
Dic : holding, ready to be patient for another 6 odd months with frequent situational reviews as I feel that once the situation corrects, companies like Erin electronics, Page Industries should do really well

I also have only recently started looking at the Wycoff Patterns. It was originally a theory put forward by Richard Wycoff . You can get a schematic diagram of the Wycoff method easily on google and take things forward from there. You might also get to see videos on the topic on Youtube.
I have not gone too deep into the topic but can recognise a Wycoff pattern when I see one. Plan is to go ahead and get a grasp of things in details.

52 week highs and all time highs strategy (11-12-2023)

The company breached its 52W high today.
It is involved in the production of ABS and SAN chemicals which are used in the auto sector which many are touting would see a turnaround as interest rates lower from here.
In Dec 2022, the original promoter of the company, Rahul Agrawal brought back the company from an MNC that had taken over the operations a few years ago.
The last quarters results were truly incredible compared to the performance earlier. After this a doubling of capacity was announced by the company.
The stock pledge is high because the company was taken over through debt in the name of the promoters and the company will possibly pay higher dividends to enable the pledge to be paid off in the coming years.
Too many positive factors playing out in the company at once.
