Tata Technologies (28-11-2023)
What is Vinfast’s contribution to the total revenues. Title is a misleading, Vinfast’s share value is at 82.35 USD on 28-Aug-2023, from there it gradually fell and is now at 6.63 USD. So, as it happened since the last 3 months, I think it is automatically factored in by now.
Anyhow, if this news negatively effects the listing price, then it is a good opportunity to take new positions in Tata Technologies
How much do you invest each month and how much does it matter? (28-11-2023)
Thanks for your comment Hardik,
Good point. At 9% CAGR the difference between 50K monthly and 1L monthly will be more profound.
Using the median example of a portfolio with size 50L
- 50K monthly takes 26 years and 7 months to generate 6.65 Cr.
- 1L monthly generates 6.67Cr in 20 years.
A difference of over 6 years and 7 months.
Agreed to this. As the saying goes, ” Make hay while the sun shines”.
La Opala RG – Aspirational consumer story (28-11-2023)
Chinese imports are mostly sold through the black market via under invoicing, Indian players who are organised will grab market share.

I would disagree with you as we retail opalware dinner sets borosil is equally god, to be honest there is some minor difference between opalware of la opala, borosil and cello, cello is a bit better because it is much resistance to breakage and we primarily push cello to customers.
La Opala RG – Aspirational consumer story (28-11-2023)
I have a retail shop in Pune and Cello has been very aggressive in its sales and marketing campaign, they provide better dealer margins and are also priced lower than la opala and have better and unique designs, it is difficult to maintain many designs as it increases shelf space and inventory, so we are now mostly selling cello dinner sets, very good demand I would say. Competition is heating as cello is planning capacity expansion and also a new plant for borosilicate glass division in direct competition to La Opala.
How much do you invest each month and how much does it matter? (28-11-2023)
I watched that part. A large cap fund might be restricted to the large cap stocks. However as @ChaitanyaC pointed out, there are wide variety of mutual funds and not all of them have to stick to the same 50 stocks.
For example a Flexi cap fund can invest in any of the 4000+ listed companies.
I skimmed through the rest of the video and he speaks of a cautionary tale. Figuring out the right valuation is a challenge and even tougher is to trust what you know and stay the course. By staying the course I mean to stay invested even when the market corrects.
Lets see how this turns out. In the mean time educate yourself
