I don’t understand this conclusion.
As I understand this business, 3 points of not in relation to corn/maize.
- Lower Indian Maize prices benefit the company because its cheaper to procure
- Higher US Maize prices benefit the company because import for them will become more attractive
- The benefit/disadvantage from the increase or decrease in prices of corn to a great degree gets passed on to customers
Hence I would expect lower US corn prices to reflect in lower export revenues for GAEL.
