India’s second-biggest state refiner, BPCL will hold 50 percent in Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd (BORL), which had built the unit, while Oman Oil Company will hold the remaining 26 percent. The IPO “is planned for next year,” Varadarajan told reporters here.

NTPC Q2 profit zooms 40% on tax gain, other income halves (29-10-2015)
Other income during the quarter plunged 48 percent to Rs 275.4 crore compared to year-ago period. NTPC has received tax gain of Rs 729.7 crore for the quarter against gain of Rs 117.60 crore in corresponding quarter of last fiscal and Rs 427.8 crore in June quarter.
