Thanks Mudit for such thorough and detailed insights.
One question regarding the new entry that you make while rebalancing.
Do you know invest all your intended amount in one go in the new entry stock?
For instance today you entered in Glenmark (or other 2 stocks for that matter), so you invested the entire amount that you had kept aside for this new entry or just the first chunk (if you plan to do it in multiple chunks).

I have tried this trick many times with some success. Many investors advise you to buy the best company in the sector. To me that sometimes becomes like chasing a helium filled baloon. When Titan was going great guns, I thought of Kalyan. Then of Radhika Jeweltech.
You often get entry into the sector through an easier door.
I have recently bought some Motilal Housing at a grand rate of ₹13.75. They are unlisted. Though they are not Bajaj, but they are Motilal, not a fly by night operator by any means. They are unlisted, but so was Bajaj Housing Finance till yesterday (it still is).
Only you will have to show patience.
I hope I have not really digressed from the topic.

Medium level churn in PF. Have sold off Shivalik bimetal and Permanent magnet, bought NIBE with the money. Also have sold off Godawari and Ugro, invested in Oriana and Sky gold.
Shivalik was the oldest holding, it was not expected to perform due to the EV sale slowdown. Similar to the story for Permanent magnet. Nibe is growing dramatically and lesser chances of fraud with the increase in the size.
Ugro was the second oldest holding again not performing due to the high level of risk with peak interest rates. Godawari was facing risk of Chinese slowdown and less ore sales. Oriana is growing dramatically and lesser chances of fraud with the increase in the size. Sky gold is due to reading this blog.
Same guy @shankarnath who wrote about Samhi.
Nibe is likely getting subcontract orders from bigger vendors like LnT likely due to the rules around defence tenders regarding the SME promotion. It’s politically connected maybe.
Oriana is solar power contractors like KPIGREEN, but growing faster, venturing into hydrogen production etc.
Also sold off Anuh and bought BLS International. Anuh was bought for hedge against the more risky ones but it has very low disclosure. Better to buy more popular stocks like BLS, world’s 3rd biggest visa processing company.
The reason behind BLS is this same source as well.
Coal India Ltd- good or bad option considering future growth! (13-09-2024)
Hello All,
Is Coal India Ltd limited a good option to buy and hold at the moment. Mixed reactions when it comes to energy management for the future.
Pros- Coal dominates India’s energy mix, contributing about 50-55% of the country’s electricity generation. India is both a producer and importer of coal, using it primarily for thermal power plants. (source chatgpt).
Cons- burning of fossil to develop and drive fuel and energy will see a decline in the coming years considering the harm is causes to nature.
Let’s discuss on the stocks- is it a good option to buy.

Has anyone analysed the valuation multiple for BHF? If the company lists at ₹140, representing a 100% premium, it would be trading at a P/B ratio of 6.4 based on the June 2024 book value. No other housing finance company is currently trading at such a high multiple. The market is assigning it a similar multiple to BFL (P/B of 6.04). Is this valuation sustainable?
