In a way it is good if the co is holding these non-core assets that have monetizable value in future. Especially because these are legacy and its not that Piccadilly is investing additional sums in it in the last 4-5 years.

So focus of present management is clear.

Genesys Annual report page 11 talks about newer verticals

The company has built one of the most comprehensive
data models and a map stack which allows it to address
multiple markets.
Whilst the content and stack got developed – the
company has been working on various verticals and
markets and in the near future – we expect to launch
every quarter a new vertical in the coming year .
For example we recently launched the Automobile
vertical with our partnership with global leader NNG ,
similarly we expect to launch newer verticals in location
intelligence and 3D every quarter.

Hi Chetan. Cyclical they could be, but OIL India is a very good company. If you ignore the noise on the channels, which stock isn’t down by 10-30% these days? As OIL has come down from 733 to 664, the fall is of some 14%. To me this appears reasonable.
Of course, if I had entered it right before the slide started, it would have given me cold sweat too.
I am not tracking it any long, but to me it seems like a safe bet.
