I used to work for TCS in 2013 at a government site. Even during those times, they could price oracle database licenses at a cheaper rate and beat TCS. Though the contract was not more worth 2Cr, but it spoke volumes about their execution.
Dev guys, during that time, had got the best Oracle database resources, which were paid well. Someone who were widely respected in the industry.
Even the freshers which they had hired, were quite passionate about their work. I had worked close with most of them and we used to do a lot of ‘trial and error’ together on servers and databases.
Slowly they started becoming talk of the town. They kept on hiring the best resources during that time. They were giving competition to Oracle corp, which had just started its office in GIFT City.
Cut to 2023 / 2024, now I am not suprised to see DevIT being talk of the town. They can give good competition to the bigshots
