One comprehensive provider that does all doesn’t really exist. Individual segments have few competitors like Codi, Sabre, Amadeus that handle meta and Google. And as agencies like WPP and psPublicis that do social.

Kaveri seeds company limited — kscl (07-10-2023)
So I just did a quick research, Q1 is the summer season. Hence according to Google, almost half of the field crop seeds portfolio that Kaveri has is not suitable to grow in summers in India, hence summers may be more export-dependent. However, their vegetable portfolio has covered all major vegetables that grow in summer in India. This may be one reason for such skewed numbers.

Position sizing strategy remains as before. Anywhere from 6 to 10 stocks with starting allocations at around 10-15%. If position runs up due to sharp run ups, I allow it to run sometimes even to 30-35% of overall PF , but when I feel there is some chances of correction after sharp run up, I trim the position to bring it to comfort levels. If I find that the techno funda picture fits in perfectly and I have a clear idea about the company at the time of entry, I allocate high levels of 15-20% at entry levels itself, but these are rare instances.
This is a style and strategy that suits me as of now, so continuing with it.

52 week highs and all time highs strategy (07-10-2023)
Trident had an amazing run in 2021 when stock price went up from the levels of around 17 (marked in dotted blue horizontal line) in July 2021 when the above chart was discussed to a high of 70 in Jan 2022 ( 4 times in around 6 months) . Since then it went down along with other textile companies and posted a bottom at 25. This down move took nearly 14 months from Jan 2022 to March 2023. Since then it is attempting another upmove.
The beauty of the chart put below is its simplicity. Just two dotted blue sloping lines drawn to show breakout from falling trendline. In the latest upmove, stock price went up after breaking out above 37 to post a swing high of 43.75 and started correcting. Now after retest of breakout level of 37 (marked in solid green horizontal line) it is showing strength.
On candle sticks last week was a doji candle with a higher upper wick. This week it was a bull candle with a weekly low at 36.55 and closed at 38.50. The low for the week is very close to a previous major breakout level and at 61.8% retracement to entire previous rally.
Going ahead, levels of 36-37 are key support zones to be watched and key resistance at 42-43 levels. If and when resistances are taken out, we can see a good rally.
disc: I have taken a trading position at around current prices based on above technical picture with clear cut stop losses in mind. ( not a recommendation, please do your own diligence if you consider buying. )

Rainbow Children’s Medicare – Niche player in Hospital Industry (07-10-2023)
Hello friends,
Wanted to highlight below points on Rainbow Children’s Medicare –
-
Initially started in Hyderabad and achieved phenomenal success. Management was able to replicate their proven model in other cities – Bangalore and Chennai. Now, even Delhi is tracking well and that gave them the confidence to plan hub in Gurugram (Hub – 400 beds – 450cr greenfield capex)
-
Rainbow’s hidden moat is their doctor engagement model, children-friendly environment and robust tertiary level services. No competition w.r.t these factors and it is not easy for new entrant as children’s healthcare needs to be built very organically.
-
Any city with a 40-50 lakh population definitely requires min. 200 beds hospital to cater to critical care and specialties. Opportunity is huge, but it takes time to build it as children’s healthcare is organic.(In a way entry barrier)
-
Rainbow’s target base is critically ill children or complex problems where there is miniscule competition. Small children’s hospitals won’t be their competition. In fact they will refer to rainbow for complex cases.
-
None of these mother and child hospitals can actually build pediatric intensive care because this model is lot more complex and intensive care takes time to build. Rainbow has a very different play in this space.
-
Breakeven in children’s multispecialty at 30% occupancy (This is much better compared to general multispecialty).
-
Q2 and Q3 are generally peak season for pediatric business.
-
TAM to double at 14% cagr to 1,78,400cr by 2026
-
I believe Rainbow has best in class metrics compared to listed hospitals (capex per bed, ARPOB, ALOS etc). Eventually market might reward it with premium EV/EBITDA multiple.
