Regarding textile sector, you can go through concalls and latest annual reports (wherever available) of various textile sector stocks to get an idea about how things stand now. There are well researched threads on VP also regarding textile sector.
P/E might not be the best metrics to value banks as they tend to be cyclical. I think Indian market has not experienced this cyclicality in the private bank as some private banks have been able to capture increasing share from public sector banks even during lean years.
It is difficult to see IDFCFB getting valuation of higher than 1.5 P/B when banks with higher scale, profitability and consistent track record are also available at cheaper valuation compared to historical trends.
I believe larger Indian banks should start to narrow valuation premium with global banks over next 3-5 years as Indian market get more integrated with global capital market with growing size.
What will be incentive for someone to own combined HDFC bank at $200 billion valuation when larger and more profitable American banks are available at cheaper valuation.
Indian banks might have higher growth but valuation premium will start coming down with decreasing incremental growth especially in dollar terms.
Portfolio Update: My allocation to Bandhan bank is a mistake. I got carried away by the narrative that the bank is helping millions of poor people by giving them access to finance. While the narrative may be true, my job as an investor is to generate superior returns while taking acceptable risks. Not only is the bank geographically concentrated in east, it is catering to politically sensitive population. I feel that the risks I am taking here were much higher than my other investments. I will remove my exposure to Bandhan bank and add more to Dmart (I already did that with my personal portfolio, but since I have not announced it here, I will make the change in excel on 1st August)
I also want to reduce my exposure to Infoedge and add more to Nykaa. Reason being I feel Nykaa is more focused, while Infoedge is Naukri + a VC fund, and the VC business can suffer a lot more in case of recession.

PE ratio is determined by number of factors. Some are business specific like competitive advantages (low cost in this case), management’s execution, promoter’s credibility. Dmart deserves a premium valuation on these factors. Another factor is that Dmart is able to deploy all its profit back into buying land and building stores. It has huge opportunity available to deploy its capital for high returns. In addition, the land it has to buy is an appreciating asset.
Then there are macroeconomic factors which affect the PE ratio, the most important being interest rates and fiat liquidity. If FED becomes serious about raising interest rates to fight inflation, all stock markets will fall. A recession will also be bad for Dmart’s business and we can expect PE ratios to deflate across all shares including Dmart and ‘low’ PE ratio stocks. I see such a fall as an opportunity and always keep some spare cash to take advantages of it.
See, if the related party transaction is within limit of 10% of the total annualised consolidated profit of the company then it is not an issue. Approval of shareholders through special resolution is required if the related party transaction during a financial year exceeds this limit.
In above case, company’s turnover is 10,304 mn. Total transaction reported to related party is approx 208 mn which is less than that limit, So there is no issue as such. 
considering consistent profits from now on , this year profits will come around 2k cr, at a P/E of 25 (which is reasonable if book grows at 25% cagr) valuation comes around 50k cr , share price of 75-80 comes as the intrinsic value of the stock. what is stopping markets from rerating?

results were a mixed bag.
important point i understood from the audio recording of the concall (also available on bse site) is that
in the second phase of assam microfinance relief scheme
bank should be getting around 750 to 800 crore from assam govt in this financial year
bank should be getting around 1100 crore in this financial year from the central govt under cgmfu scheme
if these two things happen, stock will definitely get rerated.
overall collections seem to be improving(barring temporary drop due to assam floods) and bank should be in much better shape by the end of current financial year. (no lockdowns)
It’s interesting to note the faith chandrashekhar ghosh has in his customers. He feels most of the delinquent customers will all payback one day.
A lot of customers who are npa do keep paying partially.

108rs book value seems to be stuck on screener nd moneycontrol for past 2 quarters
If bandhan bank continues to maintain 5% plus nim (currently 8%) and manages to have microfinance exposure with not more than 5% per state in India(reduces the impact of state govt election waivers)
and overall microfinance portfolio not more than 25% of the total
for the next ten years.
with a overall 20% growth in loan book every year
then it could be rerated massively over the next decade.

People are putting nice explanation on your question so I thought to share my own experience of this microcap stock(will not take the name, but well discussed in this forum) I own. It was 8.12x for me in January this year,then this June market fall happened. I added 35% of my invested amount into it and reduced my gain, it is 5.2x now for me.
It came from my conviction on this company, long quarter by quarter study of it’s performance and future growth potential. I frequently hear this term “I am holding free shares”, people sell invested capital when some stock they own gives some good returns,as you mentioned in your query. But I don’t believe in this style. But again, it depends on man to man and their style of investing.
