If anyone is Tracking Kellton, The UC is limited to yesterday's closing 195.7, even though it went to 197 yesterday, and Daily down circuit also decreased to 5% from 10%.
can anyone tell me what is the criteria for decreasing the daily circuit from 10% to 5%???

1)TTM PE as of today is 27.5x, and still the 2 quarter of the Revenue of 100cr is yet to be reported.
Hence if i assume they maintain the same revenue runrate with the same margins for next 2 quarters, then Forward PE comes to 21x(approx)(assuming Rs.40 crores profit).
2) @rajpanda,- Even my understanding is same coz he explicitly said only Rs.50 crore revenue will be coming from acquisition this year. hence to reach Rs.550 for the June year end, they need to grow Q-o-Q only.
3) one other issue today, UC is limited to yesterday's closing and decreased the LC to 5%, can anyone tell me what is the criteria for decreasing the circuit limit from 10% to 5%??

I recall PIX transmission while we were buying Belts from them..product quality is good... but Competitor were producing superior quality belts-(Competitor Fenner) since Pix fall under cyclical & Parasitic industry demand is driven basically from Auto sector and Agri business and lastly Capital goods industry as of now i don't see superior performance as of now.from any of the above sector. will put in my watch list and monitor the performance.As rightly said by Gaurav there is no margin of safety and DEBT is too high for the income generated by the company.what kind of moat will protect them in coming days as these products are more commoditized..

Seems solid portfolio with some great cos. However I have few observations:
1. Portfolio seems too diverse. (No holding with 10% or more)
2. Unitech & Lanco seems interesting in value portfolio? What's your rationale for investing in unitech & Lanco.

There will be a few companies which could be positively impacted by the floods. I can think of auto ancillaries manufacturers , consumer appliances companies etc. Couldn't find any reports pointing to such impact.

Here PE ratio is not the only criteria to ascertain the margin of safety..
The company made huge capex for development of niche products by availing term loan.The annual financial cost Rs18/-crores. forms major part of exps. Product wise .it is the best company in India command excellent brand value in India and abroad.
As against the market price of Rs.50/- the BV is 111.
The bottom line and top line will improve on revival of economy.
Wouldn't it be nice, if people also show cash as part of their portfolio, showing what % of their portfolio is cash? The reason is, I as a retail investor, try to have about 15% in cash always which can help in averaging on a stock later.
I am not sure if this report factors in the falling prices of texxtile yarns because of over capacity which is a clear trend over the last few months. I would be cautious about extrapolating the last few quarters ahead even if volumes hold up.
