Lloyd Electric & Engineering Ltd (LEEL) (17-11-2015)
I have talked to one of my relative who has been working in this field and as per him the products of LLoyd are good in quality and he himself has two at his home.
However I do agree that this industry is highly competitive but than the same holds true for Blue Star ,
Voltas and Whirlpool but still their valuations compared to LLoyd are quite high.
But one negative that I noticed is (I am talking about Gurgaon Specifically) that only One shop had Signboard of LLoyd in the Sadar Bazar Electronics Market and you need to search for that.
Whereas Sony,Samsung,Whirpool were all over the place.
So this distribution network problem i have noticed in Gurgaon however not Sure about other Cities.
In My Hometown in Rajasthan their Distributor is in the main market with a Good Advertisement however there also it only present at one place .

Torrent Pharma Ltd (17-11-2015)
Hi Hitesh,
I have been a silent reader in this forum and trying to contribute wherever possible with my little knowledge. I am really thankful to all the senior members for sharing their wisdom. In particular I went through your portfolio thread and I believe you should now be writing a book on investment (if not already)
My Query - In the Pharma space I am holding Shilpa and Granules (5% each) and I have been looking into Torrent for a while. What would be your take in the right order of long term value creation starting highest - Torrent, Ajanta and Anuh. Particularly interested in the growth potential. Anything else that you would suggest to look into? I am also keen on MPS though I may have missed the train earlier.

thanks for the perspective.
As investors, we rather have the Driver locked down for a certain period of time - a classic demonstration of the alignment in the IT sector - a sector where EBIDTA margins rarely go beyond 5% here is Ajit who believes we can get 8% margins - additionally he has been able to attract sellers willing to sell - to him. I agree this deal leaves a bit of after taste - but lesson learnt and course corrected, hopefully.
