Hi, amateur question to regular posters. In lending business, what would be the definition of leverage. Will it be loan assets/ equity or borrowed funds/equity. I think it would be loan assets/equity because all borrowed funds are eventually meant to be loaned out. In Screener leverage and d/e ratio is the same figure. So what is your opinion regarding leverage? I read a quote somewhere which aptly sums my query- In a lending business, the assets are the liabilities and the liabilities are assets of the lender.

Agree with your assessment,would be difficult to increase sales/EPS in next 2-3 years with already high utilization levels of the plant.
Few negatives for OCCL from hereon uptil 2017:
- Ltd upside on sales and margins so EPS likely to be in similar range
- Promoters sold ~5% stake at 550 levels acknowledging the upcoming challenges and pressures
CMP @ 550+ doesnt excite and seem to be running ahead of valuation. Many things can change in next 2 years so I would rather sit and watch the market landscape from the sidelines. No MoS currently in my view.

However, due to recent commercialisation of real estate in Kandivali, the net profit is singinficantly affected lease rental as well. So both business of speciliaty chemcial and real estate drive profitability and growth in the company
