The dollar dipped in Asia as investors anticipated the U.S. elections and potential interest rate cuts. Kamala Harris leads in a key poll while Trump’s policies affect inflation and the dollar. Major central banks, including the Federal Reserve and Bank of England, are expected to adjust rates this week. China’s Congress is also considering more economic stimulus.

One element of the so-called Trump trade favors higher Treasury yields and a stronger US dollar.
