Support strong regional parties in next Lok Sabha polls: Abdullah to Opposition
Politician Farooq Abdullah has suggested that strong regional parties should be supported in a “one against one” strategy to defeat the BJP in India’s 2024 elections. The 85-year-old former Union minister suggested that opposition parties should recognise the importance of state politics and support those parties doing well, such as Mamata Banerjee’s TMC in West Bengal.
