Bihar Education Minister Chandra Shekhar claimed that Lord Ram appeared in his dream and asked to be saved from those who are selling him in the market. He emphasized that Lord Ram was against the caste system and urged for the country to be transformed according to his desires. Earlier, the Education Minister had compared the holy Ramcharitmanas to “potassium cyanide,” which had drawn criticism from various leaders. Union Minister Nityanand Rai suggested a deeper understanding of the scriptures before making such comments, while BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra stated that such remarks question the beliefs of the country.
