Supriya Sule, a leader from the Nationalist Congress Party, accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of engineering splits in two political parties that were started by Marathi people. She claimed that the BJP was responsible for the division in the NCP and Shiv Sena. Sule also criticized the BJP for demoting Devendra Fadnavis, the former chief minister of Maharashtra.
