Samajwadi Party president, Akhilesh Yadav, stated that if the opposition INDIA coalition comes to power, they will follow the principles of Bhimrao Ambedkar and Ram Manohar Lohia. He warned that if they do not succeed, the BJP may change the Constitution. Yadav also criticized the BJP for exploiting the backward classes and Dalits, and accused them of deceiving people in the name of women’s reservation. He expressed his desire for the Congress and Samajwadi Party to contest the assembly election in Madhya Pradesh together to defeat the BJP.
