Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has promised to conduct a caste survey in Chhattisgarh, similar to the one recently carried out in Bihar. She praised the Bhupesh Baghel government for implementing schemes for farmers and the poor. The Congress has also announced plans for a caste census in Madhya Pradesh if it comes to power.
