The Lok Sabha has expelled Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra for “unethical conduct” and accepting illegal gratification. The move was endorsed by the Ethics Committee’s recommendation, which found Moitra guilty of sharing her login credentials with a businessman and accepting illegal gratification. Opposition MPs opposed the move and walked out in protest.
