Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah to move HC today, Congress to hold state-wide protests
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah decided to seek legal recourse against Governor Thawarchand Gehlot’s approval for his prosecution linked to site allocations to his wife in Mysuru. Congress declared state-wide demonstrations against the governor. The governor's permission followed activist requests while delaying similar actions on other politicians. Congress alleged bias, claiming it as a BJP ploy to hinder their policies. Siddaramaiah, supported by his party, refused to resign and planned to handle the issue both politically and legally. Protests by Siddaramaiah's supporters took place to show solidarity.
