Good time to add the stock right? Have added some in today’s 10% fall.
Operating margins are not lower than this for them historically. Also PE is super reasonable. I can only upside from here on both earnings and PE going ahead.
Heard that the stock is down due to some big exit today. Views from others on this?
@Srinidhi_Adiga Why do you think edelweiss is an inferior investment.? If they are able to payoff its debt wouldn’t it have a fair value of 45-69 T crores even with no additional revenue growth?
@Shreya28 Rather than making wild guesses it will be a good idea to wait for Q4 conf call and ask these questions. Or one can just send these questions to CS of the company.

The management has proposed a plan to raise funds. What can be the requirement for such fund raise, given that the company has enough capacity?
There was also an earlier notification for an in-principle approval for capex in Orissa of 864 crores.
Can someone share their thoughts on these actions of the company?

I think the most important thing would be the time horizon, if it is 10 years or more then I personally think one should get heavy in smallcap and midcap funds with little allocation to large cap or index fund and one suggestion is that for Smallcaps and midcaps don’t go with index funds because smallcap and midcap are game of identifying first and once they are into the index they generally become popular and starts underperforming.
Also Do remember that I’m not an expert in mutual funds as I’m into equities directly but if had to do sip of 30 thousand with a time horizon of 10 years or more with medium risk appetite then here are the funds with allocation in which I will invest

2. Quant smallcap Fund – 6000
3. Hdfc Midcap fund – 5000
