I have been with this stock with 3-4 years and i can say we have got a very solid managment team who are committed with the business. from this stand point we have a very long road to go, where we can see this company increasing profits y-o-y 25% for next few years. its already a 3 bagger for me, but what lies ahead is all the more exciting.

I see Paytm and PhonePe both at all retail locations (Paytm is not a monopoly)
I ask those retailers about Paytm or PhonePe and they give same response that both charge a lot and have restrictions/delay for withdrawals
I recommend them to us BHIM and stick BHIM QR CODE for taking payments which are instant and free
Apart from that Paytm tried everything from online marketplace to broking to food delivery (ONDC) but did not succeed anywhere
Comparing zomato is like comparing Apples (tomatos ) to oranges
And sitting on 2x or Xx profits has no relevance whatsoever

At <$3 billions; (with $0.5B in cash) PayTM is absurdly undervalued, atleast to me.
Valuation context;
PayPal $64 Billions
Stripe $50 Billions
PhonePE $12 Billions

Again a misstatement… PayTM ‘does’ earns from these nukads AND grocery stores in terms of merchant loans, soundbox fees, etc.
Also, the broader perspective one should look at is the multiplier effect from 30 crore+ users… It’s a household name now… PayTM can easily leverage on it.
On the profits part, it’s on its way towards it… The management was expecting profits by FY 25… Because of the RBI notification on PPBL, let’s assume a year’s more delay in profitability…
Market was cynical on loss making Zomato too at Rs. 40; look where it is now once the profits started pouring in 6 months back…

But Paytm is not earning from that nukads or grocery stores… at the end we need profit only… and now Paytm is not alone in providing such services… so market wouldn’t provide such a high valuation (even currently it’s highly overvalued)

Since you clearly don’t understand how high growth business works, doesn’t makes PayTM a non-business.
As per your defination, even PayPal & sorts of PhonePE are not businesses…
PayTM have made inroads to nukads & grocery stores which even established FMCG players find it difficult to build.
PayTM distribution & penetration is their moat which naysayers would realise only sometime later.

Agree. I also am of the opinion that most if not all of the price hike will flow into the bottomline. According to Mgmt, the RM prices should remain stable if not cool a bit because of the bumper Maize harvest in Bihar. Also, the ongoing farmer agitation is more for rice/wheat rather than Maize, so it wont have any adverse impact on the company. As mentioned in the presentation, avg. market price of Maize is already higher than MSP.
