It actually makes sense for commercial use, ather is mostly a premium 2W and their customers would want to own the battery whereas for commercial use the fixed asset which is the bike needs to be used for a longer time to generate sizeable returns on the asset so batter charging for 4-5 hrs or even fast charging leads to faster degradation of battery thus swapping being convenient so it does have a different use case. In fact when Ather started they wanted to make their batteries swappable to reduce the upfront cost but for a premium e2W this did not work out.

E2E Networks Ltd – Listed small Cloud computing player (26-12-2023)
They are the only company offering compute which has greater than 50% Indian ownership. Why would the Govt not want them to scale up so that they become a good alternative to American cloud companies?
Think!
The only problem that E2E has right now is that not enough people know about them in the Indian developer ecosystem. Tie-ups like this help with that marketing problem even if it does not translate into immediate revenue increase.

This increases their equity. A lender is allowed to lend many times more money as compared to its equity. For example before QIP their equity was around 500 crores. And they were lending more than 2000 crores. So now QIP has happened for 230 crores. This would allow them to lend more than 3000 crores now as their equity would go up to 730 crores.
And the more you can lend, the more you can earn. That is how QIPs help lenders.
INOX Wind (26-12-2023)
Things moving pretty fast
Now the math is 125% Suzlon and 180% INOX, my ultimate goal of selling Suzlon and buying INOX has worked out pretty well
Demand is not a problem at all , total India capacity is like 10GW to 12GW in wind and central government yearly auction is itself 8GW per year on top of this we have demand from state, retail, PSU. The life of a wind mill is like 20yrs and what these guys are doing in repowering is extending the life by 5yrs, repowering is a headache nobody want to do, lets see.
The moment you see any wind player doing capex or any activity which increases the debt that would be the best time to sell them. My take can be wrong

Have been following the company. Sales have stagnated – order book in at 450crs in low for such kind of companies – where delivery takes a long time. Recently they wound up the US subsidiary – not sure if they were not able to get orders or they will supply directly from India.
It seems like a wait and watch as company doesnt have share any info thorugh investor presentation / investor concall. I would wait for numbers before investing.
Disclosure – have sold my holding.

Traditionally OEM (Original equipment manufacturers) are the ones that makes equipment or cars, that are usable as a whole. Parts manufacturers don’t call themselves as OEM and hence what google says is irrelevant. It’s the OEM that (co)design and provide the specifications to the parts manufacturers and the DND (design and development) cost is also factored into the parts cost through contractual commitments and volumes
The parts manufacturers sell the parts to OEM for new equipment/cars as well as to the after sales market directly which is marked as RM (replacement market)
Hope this helps.
