Meghmani Finechem – Underrated multibagger? (20-12-2023)
well its my first thread ,
firstly i have notice that market has give 40 P/E multiple in past
secondly 2nd largest Player in chlor alkali industry GUJARAT ALKALIES. despite of fall in profit and reporting loss from last 2 quatre jun-23/sep23 . did not fall and consolidated , because of fall in earning P/e shoot up . but it is interesting to see that stock is traded below book value price is consolidated .
i have read that company(gacl) is facing problem regarding recent joint venture with nalco of chlorine disposal and making looses.
thats my view on GACL
now come to EPIGRAL LTD ,
Despite of volatility’s in margin and downturn in chemical company able to make operating profite 20%+ in last 2 quater , while for gacl it stand for 3% and 2% . its Quite interesting.

Tejas Networks – Product based IT business in a favored sector? (20-12-2023)
Per my limited understanding and knowledge, the tie up with academia is a step in right direction as it entails management vision of:
- Harnessing the Indian tech prowess and selling to the world at competitive price points.
- Collaboration with academia will ensure that the company has the pipeline of engineers from top tier institutes. Similar sort of industry- academia tie-up’s are also now visible in other companies like Fineotex chemical who has also tied up with Sasmira institute for collaborative R&D.
- Consistent allocation of the financial resources in R&D and innovation to remain competitive with biggies like Ericson, Nokia etc.
- US based MNC’s like Manvenir are quite optimistic on the demand for Open RAN in India set to grow next year and is ramping up capacities to cater to the demand. Though the tie up with IIT is for 5G RAN but seems that this will have some common linkages.
Open RAN to ramp up in India by next year: Mavenir, Telecom News, ET Telecom - Additionally the existing contract with BSNL is for the deployment of 4G telecom gears at 1 lacs site which will eventually needs to be upgraded to 5G. Hence this deal may provide add-on’s for Tejas subsequently which will open up 5G RAN opportunities for which this licensing agreement has been entered into.
But for now, we have to track the execution capability and how margin profile (though would not be material as far as BSNL contract is concerned) pans out going forward.

Currently Propylene is sourced from all over India and involves road transportation of hazardous chemical. This also results in higher logistic cost. if they are able to source the Propylene from Dahej via pipeline this will help them increase their margins in Phenolic business
HBL POWER SYSTEMS: Booting-up for the Race of the Century (20-12-2023)
I use this checklist when such sudden moves happen:
- Is this stock going down alone or is it in line with broad market move?
- 10-20% down move in a day is to be expected in most mid & smallcaps with no reason & rhyme
- If the broad market is going down without any macro geopolitical events, it will be attributed to many reasons – profit booking, f&o expiry, blah
- This is a good opportunity to buy more if my conviction is still strong
HBL POWER SYSTEMS: Booting-up for the Race of the Century (20-12-2023)
I would say its the general cut,on expected line, for most of the names which floated way above the surface recently.
Try observing PSU banks, PSU finance…they all getting similar cuts.
I would like to think this is a blimp and they shall be back.
I bought few names i like most.
