Said Tata ( exited from) to TCS after holding it for many years.Proceeds shifted to DHFL and Rel Capital my other portfolio holding stocks.TCS has been great holding for me for more than a decade.TCS is great company and I still admire it a lot As now I have decided to cut no of stocks in my portfolio ,so had no choice but to exit due to uncertainty in growth.Although I am sure I may still be having TCS indirectly as I hold around 45% of my portfolio in mutual funds.

Yes ,it proved to be wrong decision, but it was uncertainty on merger which was reason of my exit .In my view some thing positive about merger is coming, which may be known to insiders .

Plus...the stock I think could have been added in FNO
Yet, no regrets----can be added if it comes to 600---550---510

All the best kharb! I too holding Yes bank,HDFC bank and Indusind bank in my portfolio. I had accumulated these stocks during 2015&2016 Mid and after that I did not invest since stock has not depreciated. Now I don't know whether to accumulate in smaller quantity or wait for price dip or follow SIP mode. any input would be appreciated.

I am already having half of my portfolio in financial sector,so I don't intent to increase further investment weightage in this sector, but just reducing no of stocks . But if any body has less than one third of his total investment in financial sector ,then one can buy in SIP mode in strong retail banks as discussed If some body has already more than 33% weightage in financial sector like me ,he need not to invest more money in this sector but can shift same money from weak ideas to strong ideas.

IDFC bank good results in this quarter and Net NPA came down significantly due to steps taken to sell off bad loans. Looks like a turn around story from here on.

DCB looks to be steady and secular growth story . IDFC bank may be slow in start but three years onwards I expect good returns
