Deletion of messages relating to whtsapp groups

WhatsApp and chat groups is pointed out that such groups are inimical to the concept of a forum in as much as they foster discussions within a closed group and are not open to the public.

Do you agree to deletion of the messages wherein members have volunteered to form and be part of whtapp groups?

 

These members are using the forum to promote their whatsapp group.

 

100% Agreed. It is misuse of forum facility for private messaging.

 

In my view, at the most he could have given his mobile no and ask the interested to contact him directly for joining his whats app group.I think every new interested joinee posting a message seprately did not looks good.I expect such courtesy in such issues in future.But we always need to learn from past for improvement in future.I hope my dear friends of these whats app group may not take my post as offensive.

 

those posts are cringe-worthy, irrespective of the platform it is on - a forum or instant messaging, everybody looking for quick money and "tips"

Intolerance combined with exercise of (misuse) of absolute power (of the administrator) ... I might get purged too in here due to this post. Could also be a case of spooked by competion from a whtsapp group
